SAVE MOTHER EARTH
Yael's Day 5
Now working on the final touches of the website. I put up a tag board just to keep track of the people that gave our project a hoot.
Yael's Day 4
Apparently, I've put up the images. I started posting links to the website all over the internet, too.

The SAVE Series
To show that I care about Mother Earth, I made graphics to be displayed on the internet. Here is a preview of the SAVE Series.

Let me tell you about the graphics.
I used a picture of a busy road on the first graphic. The image represents one cause of a current environmental problem: Global warming. Remember that cars produce all that black smoke, and most of them are in the city.
What I want to say in the graphic is, 'Stop air pollution, save fresh air. Save fresh air, save the Earth.'
The same thing actually goes with all the other graphics.
In the last graphic, I used an image of two kids. (By the way, I got them from GettyImages.)
As of the moment, Earth is the only planet we could stay in and it would take time before we could find another. Now that this planet is what we only have, we must save it for the future generations, which are, the children today. And that explains why I used the picture.
Yael's Day 3
Made the graphics today. I discovered this technique of making a work path out of the text, and then making the work path a selection. This new technique makes the graphics look much neater than when you use the magic wand tool. I did not delete the text, but instead, put it under ‘save’ I took out from the full image. This made the ‘save’ look clearer.
I wrote some content on the website and put the images along with them. I was ready to go bed at around 12 midnight when I saved it, and voila, I messed the page up. I was able to get the previous code of the page, though. So I wrote them all over again, but did not put the images yet.
I gave out the address of the website to everyone I know at school and got them to visit it.
Yael's Day 2
I’ve decided to get royalty free images instead at FotoSearch.com. The images were pretty but the watermark keeps getting in the way. So I checked out more sites and decided to get at GettyImages in the end. GettyImages does not situate the watermark right at the most important area of the picture (e.g. face).
Yael's Day 1
I collected some photos for the Save Series on Photobucket and Google. Attempted to make two of the Save Series and posted them up on Tumblr despite of the poor quality.
